The Red Room v. 0.2a is Released for Patrons!

Hey! The update for The Red Room is finally here after a year since the last release. I know that this was a long time to wait — and I don't want to make it anymore longer. Thank you, and I'm truly sorry for the wait.

Content:

This is a "basic functionality update" with a good amount of content to accompany it.
This means that not everything is added (like some locations) and most stuff will feel "unfinished" in some sense.

It has:

Around 200 images, not counting superficial ones
The same amount of text as the Intro Update
Sandbox part of the game
3 new characters

I hope that this is a solid foundation to finally start releasing updates in a constant fashion.

DOWNLOAD:

This is a patreon-friendly version with some content cut, please DOn't download patches from sites like Lewd Patcher that may inject unfriendly content into the game.

Known problems:

Save Complatibility isn't supported yet
Time Format resets every time the game is closed
Locations take an unnatural amount of time to show (I know the reason, but didn't had time to properly fix it)
Music and sounds are absent from the content of v2 for now because adding those would add a few more days before the release and I'm already one day over the deadline I've set
There may be some instances of incorrect character address, please message me about them if you'll ever see one :^)
Stat popups can be finnicky and sometimes doesn't show properly

Thank you for sticking up with the game even when it was easy to think that nothing else will come out.

I'll have a few days off, do some things, relax for a bit. After which I'll begin working on a patch v2b which will add music and sounds and will try to fix things from the «known problems» section.

After that I'm aiming to a set deadline of 3 months from the public release date to make a new version of RR.

Your support and attention to the game warms my heart. I hope you will enjoy this update~
