Lifting the veil on a new era of Wildlander! Introducing the Wiki, the Roadmap, and Customization

Happy Tuesday, Wildlanders!

As promised, we are proud to unleash Wildlander's newest features:

• The completely revamped Wildlander Wiki, containing anything and everything you'd want to know about the Wildlander experience;
• The brand new Wildlander Roadmap, which outlines the design, the vision, and the implementation for future Wildlander updates;
• And the grand opening of Wildlander Customization—resources on the Wiki and within the Discord for customizing Wildlander to your liking (and in some cases, getting your customizations added in future updates!)

The goal of these features is to eliminate Wildlander's information gaps, both in gameplay and development.

We will continue to improve and expand these features as Wildlander progresses. But for now, we encourage you to hop in, click around, and play with these tools yourself!

Traversing the Road: Introducing Milestones

If you click around the Roadmap, you'll notice that new mods and features are organized into Milestones: the new foundation of Wildlander's update cycle.

Moving forward, all Wildlander updates will be organized into two categories:

• Milestones. Each Milestone is a collection of mods, features, and fixes—usually centered on a theme, such as "Vampirism Overhaul", or "Farming Integration". Milestones represent significant additions and improvements to the experience, and saves from one Milestone are not likely to work on the next.
• Patches. Patches contain fixes and tweaks for small issues that snuck their way into a Milestone release. Your saves will be safe when updating from one patch to the next.

Look forward to more information later this month on the first ever Milestone release, including its contents and rough timeline.
