It's been a week since release. Thank you for the outpouring of support, and here's some info on the upcoming bug-fixing patch!

Hello there Wildlanders! Hope you've had a good week, as ours has been pretty damn excellent. ;)

Thank you all for downloading and becoming a part of our growing community, and a massive thanks to the Wildlander team, who has been working like crazy this past week to help people with their installs and assuage any in-game issues.

(If you'd like to say thanks to the team yourself, here is the Wildlander Team Ko-Fi page!)

The upcoming bugfix update

Now that the dust has settled somewhat on the release, my first priority is getting out a bugfixing update that will address some of the most crucial issues users have identified since the release. These fixes should include, but are not limited to:

This is not an exhaustive list of the fixes I hope to include in the update; just a sampling that will hopefully provide a glimpse into our prioritization.

When will this update arrive?

As with any update, I try not to give out release dates until I am confident we can meet them. This bugfix update is still in early days, as we spent most of last week helping users to install, and collecting data on what needs fixing.

With that said, these fixes are extremely high priority and I want them out sooner rather than later, so I am shooting for a target (not guaranteed) date of no longer than a few weeks. I will also keep you all posted on the progression of the update per usual.

One last thanks

On behalf of myself and the Wildlander team, I would like to thank you all once more for the incredible response to last week's release. The rate of adoption and the level of enthusiasm were just far beyond anything we dared to hope for, and y'all have truly made this launch one of the most special and most rewarding experiences in my life.

Thank you all again for your participation in the project, and for your patience as we take it to greater heights. It means the world to us, and we're very proud and humbled to continue on this journey with y'all.

All the best,

Dylan and the Wildlander Team

The release was really great. So many people are streaming it already :) I am waiting for the OS independent wabbajck release before actually trying on linux. But there is so much content to enjoy right now... easing the wait!
