Weekly Update (2/9/18) — Requiem 2.0.0
Added 2018-02-09 22:22:10 +0000 UTCWelcome back, my loves, to another week of GRIPPING Ultimate Skyrim development. ;)
As always, say hello to our Newest Patrons:
- Chailles
- Faringray
- Kent Frazier
- Koby Perrett
- ONomadO
- Thomas Batchelor
As some (most?) of you know, this week marked the release of the long awaited Requiem 2.0.0 — The Phantom Agony. This version contains major changes to Archery, Combat, Foodstuffs, Lockpicking, and more, along with an abundance of bug fixes and quality-of-life changes.
You can read all about the new changes here.
What does this mean for Ultimate Skyrim 4.0?
Though I did not know Requiem's 2.0 release was so imminent, I've planned to integrate it as long as it dropped before 4.0 was ready. Since Requiem 2.0 is now released, I can definitively say:
Ultimate Skyrim 4.0 will utilize Requiem 2.0.0 — The Phantom Agony.
I'm very excited to announce this, because as many of you know, my love for Requiem originally inspired the creation of Ultimate Skyrim, and I'm beyond excited to bring Requiem's new changes & features to the US experience.
I began work on 2.0.0 integration the day of release, and I can already promise that the new version of Requiem is balls-to-the-wall awesome.
There is still much work to be done on my end, since many elements of US are now outdated/in need of change to accommodate Requiem's newest version, but I promise I'm working diligently to make these changes.
You might also be happy to hear that Requiem's update will not add additional time to 4.0's projected release date, since as I said earlier, I already expected this update to drop before 4.0 was ready to publish.
For reference, that projected release date is: soon ™ . ;)
With that I will leave you, since I'm already antsy to get back into xEdit and continue working on Requiem's integration. (This really is my idea of fun, for whatever that says about me.)
Thanks for reading, double thanks to all my Patrons, and triple thanks to Ogerboss and the Requiem devs for their wonderful work. I'll be back next week with more hot news!
Love,
BB
