Corruption in the City, Chapter 1

So this is a story I've been working on for the better part of three years, inspired by my explorations of New York City and it's fascinating, and sometimes mysterious, subway system. I'm going to start uploading these one chapter at a time. I've had 5 chapters pretty much finished for quite some time, and now am trying to get back into completing more.

The concept is in the not too far future magic is being reintroduced to our world, exposure to which not only can grant power, but often causes people to transform in various ways. Expect lots of magical creatures, fae, demons, body modification, expansion, etc etc.

This is also meant to be the start of an anthology of other short stories set in the same world, each one telling the tale of a different person or persons experiencing the magical changes from their own perspective. I hope you all enjoy, please leave a comment with your thoughts. Thanks.
