The Archaeologist (working title) teaser

Here is a taste of my upcoming story about an archaeologist who is a bit on the politically incorrect side and manages to get infected with a transformative nano-virus after angering the wrong people. This scene is from the end of chapter one which is currently mostly complete and waiting on editing. I want to be mostly finished with chapter two and the draft for chapter three as well before posting chapter one so I don't run into any continuity issues if I find something I need to change.

In the mean time I hope you all enjoy this teaser and I can't wait to get the first few chapters up

Also, I'm struggling to come up with a good name for this story. Suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
