Billing Change & Feedback

So first off myself and Merkava are quite happy with the good start we seem to be off to with Patrons. However having become more familiar with how Patreon billing works we've decided to, for the time being, switch to a per-month rather than per-paid-post billing system. Why? Because the way Patreon works it only bills people who were current patrons at the time you put up a new paid post, and any new patrons are only billed after the NEXT paid post. The problem with that being with the growth in our Patronage it's a little funky for example, someone pledged to download Udderly Smooth, but they don't pay till Merkava posts his next story, while someone who'd already pledged gets billed twice.

So we're going to switch to per-month, at least for the time being . This shouldn't affect anyone immediately as no one has been billed yet for anything. After this month finishes though if you feel you've given enough and want to either reduce or end your patronage that's fine. Continued patronage of course is most welcome as it will continue to motivate us to produce as well as funding our illustration commissioning project.

We may eventually go to a reward-based system. Where we track individual patron's donations and directly email our work out at the beginning of each month. For now though we'll just be putting it up for ANYONE who pledges ANY amount. What we'd suggest is that you pledge per month a small amount that you feel is worth the work we're doing, and keep it going as long as we are meeting your expectations.

We highly encourage our patrons to give us feedback, both on how we can best run our Patreon (forgive us we're still learning) and on our stories. Remember folks, money is great, but comments and feedback are the true food that motivates us writers. Please let us know what you think and how we're doing! Thank You!!
