Why I keep joining illustration contest?
Added 2025-02-23 12:57:05 +0000 UTCIf you are curious or asking why I keep participating in illustration contests, I actually need funds in case one day my pen display can no longer be used at all.
the condition of my pen display is now a bit concerning, in terms of function it still works normally but there is a burning effect on the edge of the screen and it gets bigger every time, the photo above I took in 2021, the current condition today maybe 40% of the area has been affected by the burning effect. thankfully the center part of the screen that I often use is still normal.
And in fact this defect appeared a year after use, right when the warranty ran out, I don't know why Wacom's quality is so fragile considering this product is included in the "Pro" series and the price is quite expensive.
Previously I had tried to contact customer service to see if it could be repaired and Wacom said it could be repaired, and do you know how much the repair cost? 1500 USD! that's almost the price of a new product!
Talking about my next plan, I want to take part in the illustration contest from Wuthering Waves, Wuthering Waves has just announced its third illustration contest and I want to take part in the costume design contest, I have a glimpse of the costume design I want to draw.
Also any active WuWa player here? I want to know more details about the new region Rinascita, I play WuWa sometime but now it's still stuck at the beginning
