Coming up on July 9

The next video is different! I have discovered that in the past years quite a few  games have appeared that illustrate quantum effects, and of course I had to try them out. They're all free, some work in your browser, some can be downloaded as apps to your phone. Links will all be in the weekend post.

What if one is not a game but an actual quantum mechanic virus application? Standard antivirus programs would never detect it. It would propagate exponentially, and in 2 to 3 months every risc/cics machine on the Internet would be affected. Then the AI that is generating the Q machines should go further, and at some point started using nanobots. Then they are put in autos, planes, all machines, and eventually androids. Yep, that sounds like our future, but only if right-wing nut jobs don't f it up. PS: You could probably tell I am up to late. Till next time.

I'm a massive word-nerd, pleased you appreciate my alliterative and assonant endeavours, Tracey. I am trying to imagine how one would anthropomorphise onomatopoeia. (Also, Standing stalwart, stern and strident amongst those sirens - that sybil of science, Sabine! Helps that S is the most common letter to start words in English.) 😁

Oooh... someone knows the definition of alliteration. Do you know what onomatopoeia is? What if you anthropomorphize your onomatopoeia with alliteration? My high school literature teacher would be so proud of me right now.

TOO LATE, I'm sucked in by the sassy, seductive science sirens of YouTube..😆

Stop it, stop it, stop it! I can live with making quantum mechanics understandable, but I must draw the line at this nonsense of trying to make it fun. I will watch the video on Saturday, but at no point will I enjoy it -- I have principles, you know.
