I found two people to help me with the YouTube channel, one to edit the videos and one for research and fact checking. We also regularly consult with other people, scientists and researchers, to make sure we don't misrepresent their research. Working with others has freed up a lot of my time to look into new topics to cover. All of this is only possible thanks to your support!
Another thing you don't see much of on YouTube is my constant and ongoing attempt to fix my studio lightning and audio quality and trying to avoid mispronouncing words in a foreign language. I was never particularly good at English, and frankly never expected this to be relevant. But now I sweat over the risk of pronouncing "won't" as "want", omg.
One side effect of this is that I've learned to sort out the British from American pronunciation. Curiously enough, most of my friends who are native English speakers don't know what the difference is themselves! So on New Year, we'll talk about the difference between British and American English, before we return to science proper next weekend.
