Commission Project WIP Sneak Peek

t's been a while since I do characters from Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku/Judgment series. I know some people here are fans of the series, and maybe found me through my Yakuza HS/HS2 mods. I always want to do more characters but unfortunately my list of characters I want to port is endless while my time is limited. Especially since I have to do poll winner and commission too.

But what do we have here, the commission for this month is actually for Yakuza character :D

It's Eri Kamataki from Yakuza Like A Dragon/Ryu Ga Gotoku 7. Like Ririka, she's based on real-life actress. The thing with model like that, it's hard to preserve their look in a completely different engine like Illusion games. But I'll do my best.

For example, I had to smooth out many details in her textures because HS2 shader would exaggerate them. I may edit them further to get the skin right. Also you can see the hair physics in action. Most Yakuza models don't have hair armature so I had to create custom rig for Eri's long hair.

Still more things to do and polish before release. Yakuza fans or not, I hope y'all look forward to it.
