Upcoming on Sep 18

So this Saturday will be a little different, because we're planning on two videos! The one video is from my recent trip to London where I met with Rohin Francis who some of you may know from his channel MedLife crisis. Rohin is a cardiologist and he shot some physics questions at me, and I got to ask him medicine questions in return. This video will run at 6pm CEST. At the usual time slot we'll have a video about an anomaly in neutrino oscillations that has received very little attention (and I hope to remedy that...)

Also, I cannot be online on Saturday at 2pm, so I won't be available to answer questions until a few hours later.

P.S: I am not a physicist. I am a programmer with an MSCS degree and an undergraduate EE degree.

Also posted on utube: Another question: How do we know there is not energy with a frequency higher than x, where x is highest frequency energy we are able to detect? For example, there is a limit to the frequency of the energy that a radio telescope is able to detect. This limit is associated with the dimensions of the telescope, and the values of the electrical components that process the signal captured by the telescope. Above a certain frequency, the telescope would not be able to 'see' any signal and the electrical components and stray inductance and capacitance would prevent any signal that is present from being processed. So if energy exists with a frequency higher than x, we would not be able to detect it using a radio telescope. However, it is possible we could detect its presence based on how it interacts with the normal matter/energy around it. This seems to be a description of the dark matter/energy enigma. This is discussed in terms of radio telescopes because their bandwidth is a superset of the wavelengths detected by optical telescopes. Comments?

Now I have to work out what time it'll be where I am when the interview goes up. :)
