Added 2021-03-10 07:39:36 +0000 UTCI spent the New Year's break thinking about where our YouTube channel should go, looking at your comments, and talking to friends and colleagues. One of the conclusions I came to is that we will cover a larger variety of topics. For one it's because I myself like learning new things. But also because I think there's a lot of interesting science that doesn't get the coverage it deserves.
On Saturday we'll be talking about one such underrated topic that is, believe that or not, the science of hurricane prevention. Considering how much of a difference this research could make for hundreds of millions of people, it's surprising how little we talk about it. So, we looked into the literature, and on Saturday I'll sum up what we found.
