About HS2 Next-Gen Shader

Some of you are probably aware, or even use, next-gen shader mod by Hanmen. I'm not gonna explain what it is for those who never heard it, you can ask around in Illusion games community about it. If you know, you know. I consider it as something for advanced user, as you need graphics mod and some tweaking to get it right. And if your PC is already struggling with HS2 then it may tax it even more. So don't worry for missing out if you're using HS2 casually.

Thing is the shader is not compatible with head mods, or at least ones with custom UV like mine. Hanmen has graciously provided method and resources to head modders so head mods can be compatible with the shader. I did some experiment with Miyako and wanting to release her with it as option but I can't quite get it right. I'll keep trying though. This poll will not affect my decision on whether or not I'll include next-gen shader compatibility as option in my releases (if I can get it right that is)

I'm just curious on what do you think about next-gen shader. Last I checked on another poll most people used DHH while this shader requires graphics mod. So it will be interesting to see.

The shader is free. It's the next-gen texture that is paid mod. You can use the shader without the textures. That shader is what I'm trying to be compatible here.

The Hanmen Shader appears quite intriguing. However, we think so long as the mod remains a "pay" mod, a strong enough portion of the Illusion community may not wish to buy it. Thus, we do not yet support Hanmen either. Instead, we create & share is as "universally" as possible--employing only the most recent HS2 "repack" that is OLDER than 90 days. 90 days to update your mods pack is more than enough time if you are serious about the game.

i would love to use it but could never get the lighting right so i quickly returned to my precious dhh presets :(
