I had some extra time after doing regular work today, so I spent a little time just scratching out an idea. Simple doodles like this are a nice way to experiment with new ideas outside of my normal work, and I often use them as blueprints for bigger pics down the line. I quite like the positioning of the figures in this one, though I'll probably nuance the idea with some ethereal figures and more complex magic-y visuals.
Additionally, here's the WIP for this week's Sunday Sketch, which I got an early start on yesterday. It's mostly just a fun pose study, though I will be throwing in a lot of background elements to tell a bit of a story as well.
