BEHIND THE SCENES - "Breadbug Bowling"

This was the first Pikmin Bit to feature Captain Karolyn's new design with the nose and the ears. I wanted her to still translate well into a Pikmin character even for unknowing audiences.

This Bit was one of the most cartoony, because I wanted to get more loose with what I was doing, which leads to Breadbugs transforming into bowling balls and getting hit so much that they form into pins.

First, there was a frame that was accidentally left out, because it was in a different folder for whatever reason. Likely a misdrag. This frame has a bit more of a dismount from the spiral blur.

Here it is reinstated. All fixed!

I drew a frame on the wrong layer, and felt the utmost joy in doing so.

This was the new design, which I drew in a separate file and copied it here. It's changed again after this, too. If I find the OG file, I'll have to upload it here. Initially, I was gonna have the Yellow flicking her nose, but... the helmet.

When throwing the Yellow, Karo was gonna SMACK it towards the Breadbug instead.

Not super sure why it was changed, and I kinda wish I went with this one. Maybe the final version was quicker to animate? This Bit was one of those that fell behind schedule, so I guess some complicated ideas like this had to be changed.

So truth be told, I'm needing to clear up space on my animation PC, so I'm uploading these files to Mega, which gives me a good excuse to dig up some more cut content from these. I'll be looking through "Notch's Swimming Lesson" next, though I'm not sure if much had changed. I remember a cut ending that would have taken longer, which I've described on the YouTube and Newgrounds uploads. Or if we're talking frogs, upTOADS. Boom, I still got it
