For those that haven't been following, this series has been running for 18+ years now and was a tease/non-nude ecchi series through its first 27 volumes. It got a TV anime in the mid-2000s which was non-nude as well.

The series creator, Takeshi Fujishiro, began work on a 2nd manga series concurrent with this one in 2009 called Cafe Detective Club, which even had a couple cross-over characters. Unfortunately it had significantly less fanservice and still no nudity. This series recently ended (with a "happy ending," more on that later this week), and replaced by a very promising series last year (also look for a post on this soon).

Anyway, the reason I bring those other series up is because the added workload by the author makes each volume of his main series take about 6-7 months to produce (most series release a volume once every 3 months).

Anyway, back to the series I'm posting today. After many many volumes of "garden of eden" style non-nudity, nipples suddenly and unexpectedly made an appearance in Nagasarete Airantou's 28th volume. I'm not the end-all-be-all on manga expertise, but it is as far as I know the longest wait ever for a first nipple sighting in a manga.

Thankfully it wasn't a one off or a fluke, and each volume since 28 has basically averaged about one or two dozen panels with real nudity each volume since then. The series has introduced a huge cast of female characters over almost two decades, and the series creator seems to be having a lot of fun making us guess with each volume who will be getting their first nude scenes- often times teasing major characters for their first nude scene before redirecting to another.

I'm not saying I'd want every ecchi manga to follow this path, but it has made each new release of this manga have the greatest sense of anticipation I can remember really ever for this genre.

As far as today's post. The previous volume marked the first nudity for Chikage, this volume has the first nipples for Machi (actually, that's technically not quite true, I'll explain in a post later this week why). As usual there's some fake-out teasing for Suzu (the main female character). There was also some nudity for a few nameless girls early. The series also introduces three new "monster" girls in this volume and they all get plenty of nudey time, thankfully.

For a series that went so long without showing nipples, there's now a total of 130 panels in this series with nipple sightings. Included in the download is an additional folder just for those panels.
