October 2024 Update (Spooky Edition!)

Happy halloween, everyone! Once again, I'm squeaking my update into the last day of the month. This one's been quite the month, too. Castaway Wife has been doing really well on the digital marketplaces, which is always a nice thing to see. And as patrons will know, I've begun a new series, Never Too Late to Play, a "later in life" (as Amazon classifies it, I saw) story. Next chapter posts tomorrow!

First things first, at the top, an important announcement if you're a Patreon subscriber who subscribed through the Apple AppStore.

Note about Patreon users paying through Apple

If you're subscribed through the Apple AppStore, your monthly subscription will be more than $5—30% more, in fact. This is all money that goes to Apple. Neither Patreon nor I see any of that, and neither of us raised these rates.

If you don't want to pay extra (and I certainly wouldn't), then cancel your sub and then resubscribe through the website.

On that note, also, I totally understand if people need to come and go. There are so many other subscriptions out there, and my content isn't always going to flow the way Netflix or something does. The Limo Driver and His Wife published!

I've just published the novella, The Limo Driver and His Wife. It's largely the same thing you read here on Patreon, but now it's available to everyone. No need to buy if you're a patron, but if you want to, I'd love it if you dropped a review. These novellas seem to get a lot of traction, and I'm excited to see how this one does.

Upcoming Stories

Never Too Late to Play, parts 2 (The Profile) and 3 (Layovers)

The initial story/book is a trilogy of shorts, each one designed to act as a stand alone story. I'm currently in the middle of published the second part, which will be followed by the concluding story for now. Then I'll publish all three together. Depending on how well it's received, I'll continue writing some more.

The style is a slower burn story than what we became used to in In Too Deep.

Secret Unnamed Project

This is meant to be all tease, no substance. I still have this killer idea in mind, but I don't even want to talk about it yet. I just need space to write.

While We Were Apart (new series)

So while I write that one, I'll probably be posting some of this one:

Morgan and Nathan, a college couple, decide to "take a break" during their Junior Year, as Morgan goes abroad to study in London. When she comes back, they get back together, only nothing is the same. This profound moment early in their relationship ripples through the rest of their lives. This series, which I'm just now finishing up part five of, follows the couple as they grow up and deal with the time that they were apart. It's kind of my exploration of the roots of the hotwife fantasy. Kind of like a much more drawn out version of the Blonde in 3C.

And again, as I've said, five separate story arcs have been written for this one. I'm not sure if I'll post them all together, or spread them out with shorts. Depends on how into it you all are.
