Chapter 7 Taiyang’s illegitimate son!

The battle of the beacon ended in disaster. The headmaster was killed by the terrorist. The white fangs were now arrested and ready to be on the trail.

Their leader's body was nowhere to be found. It looked like some grimm had eaten him. There’s only his arm remaining and a pool of his blood.

Glinda Goodwitch as a vice headmaster was appointed to be an acting headmaster for now.

She was filled with sorrow when she saw the state of the school and to hear the news that her mentor was dead. But she was a strong woman. She will do what she has to do.

Qrow wasn’t anything better. He was now keeping it to himself but he was hurt the same as Glinda. He just didn’t show it to the kids near him.

Speaking of the kids.

Jaune was now fit in too well with the group of his nieces and their friends.

Yang came back with the other two of the other team but everything was already over. She had the decency to be an as* sometimes but not this time when she saw what happened to the school.

“We blondes should stay close to each other.”

Of course it was Yang Xiao Long. She was bold and direct. She was now hugging Jaune's right arm right away when she heard his deed. The final nail to the coffin was for her to hear that he had saved her sister from being eaten alive by the damn grimm griffon.

With her, Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie were there, but the two were on their own and just stood near them.

Nora was trying to be… Nora but Ren knew otherwise. So he tried to calm her down.

The red head Pyrrha was the most expressive one when she saw her hugging his arm. She tried to hide it, but failed miserably. She had a crush on her hero. Of course, everyone knew it. because she was not the only one.

Blake was the same. He saved her from her impending doom, called Adam Taurus. and with his manly smell, it was hard for her not to fall for him.

Everyone had their preference. And Jaune strikes them like a hammer! He came fast like strom!

Even Ruby, who was not familiar with girl things, took notice of her feelings too. She also had a crush on her hero, like Pyrrha.

As for the snow princess, she was nowhere to be found because her sister came and brought her back home. She protested, but that was impossible when the school was already destroyed.

And if she was here. There was a very high chance that she would be the same as her teammates.

‘Damn that kid. Is he Tai’s illegitimate son!’

Jaune was now very bashful as the blonde hot chick was now checking him out and coming too close to him.

Her big breasts now sandwiches his arm. He felt like he was going to heaven. Something was rising but it wasn’t his spear… not the one in his hand by the way.

"Okay, now stop teasing the poor kid. We need to do something about this situation. I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but Ozpin’s dead, and the school will be closed for the foreseeable future.”

Everyone heard that they stopped focusing on Jaune and on the matter at hand.

Ruby looked at her uncle and said sadly.

“What should we do, uncle Qrow?. If we can’t continue studying in beacon. We would never be able to be a huntsman!”

Everyone was now concerned about what they should do from now on. They came to beacon to be a huntsman but now they couldn’t do that.

Jaune was now the only one who didn’t have such a concern but. He couldn't help but give in his penny when he saw his friend was depressed.

“Well, Why don’t you all go to another school for the time being? When the beacon finished repairing. You all could just come back!”

That was a good idea. They could go to another school first then come back when the beacon finishes repairing. and because Jaune had killed the Giant Nevermore. No grimm were attracted so the repairing of the school wasn’t hard with Glinda who could repair things in the blink of an eye.

And now they notice something. he didn’t use “We” but “You all”

“What do you mean Jaune? You don’t want to come with us?”

It was Pyrrha who spoke out her thoughts. She would never go anywhere if he wasn’t there too! She came here to find her true friend and he was standing in front of her. She would never let him go!

Jaune was having a hard time refusing her but he needed to open his store as soon as possible if he wanted to become stronger faster.

He needed to be ready when Cinder came back to deal with him. He knew she would never let him go with that expression she gave him when she escaped.

They were mortal enemies from now on.

“I am sorry! I can not go with you. I have something to do here.”

Jaune joined hand and apologized to her. He broke his promise once when he told her that he would be her partner in the initiation and died after.

Pyrrha saw that Jaune wasn’t kidding. and being serious in not wanting to go with them.

“Then I stay. I will wait until the beacon is repaired. I won’t go anywhere!”

Pyrrha stated clearly. She would never go to another school If Jaune wasn’t there.

Ren and Nora are good friends of hers but the two still erect some kind of wall around themselves.

It’s very hard for her to come in between them. and the other member, her partner, don't even mention him. He escaped as soon as the white fang attacked.

Jaune wanted to persuade her that she was being unreasonable. but before he could say anything.

Ruby threw her hands up in the air!

“I will stay too!”

Jaune was shocked. He then asked her.

“What about being a huntsman, which you were very concerned about a moment ago?!”

Now it was Ruby who struggled. She didn’t want to admit that she wanted to go to the school that her crush went to.

“Eh…I am very concerned about it but as Pyrrha said we can just wait for Beacon to finish being repaired! then we could go to school together like friends! right guys!”

She needed support and the support was her team.

Yang of course as her elder sister. She supported her.

“Of course Rubes. We will go to school together with your crush. Just waiting a month or two doesn’t change anything much. we can just self-study until then.”

“I don’t have a crush on Jaune!”

“Did I say Jaune hehe…”

“You meanie!”

Yang and Ruby then went on sibling things. They forgot about what their uncle said that the beacon might close for a foreseeable future. not one month or two months but years.

Blake looked at him with conviction.

“You saved me from him. I will be wherever you are. You can’t persuade me otherwise.”

Her ears twitched excitedly. She found her light and salvation in Jaune.

Jaune couldn’t help but blink. Did that count as her confessing to him?

It was so confusing because he had never been confessed to before!

“Well, I can’t do anything if you all want to stay right. And what about you two? Ren and Nora, right? I saw you two want to speak something since five minute ago”

Ren nodded at Jaune and gratefully thanked him for giving him the opportunity to speak.

While Nora was jumping around and singing a song about the queen of the castle. Ren looked at Pyrrha and spoke to her.

“We can’t stay here anymore.”

Pyrrha heard that she bit her lips. She didn’t think about them in consideration when She spoke to Jaune about staying here. She didn’t consult her team. It was very rude of her.

“Ren I-”

“It’s not that Pyrrha. We can’t stay here or anywhere. Me and Nora especially. We live off beacon scholarship and as you can see. Beacon is no more. We have to find a job in which Vale is out of the option now.”

Vale was attacked by a horde of grimm and white fangs. It would take a long time for them to be able to stand tall once again. They shouldn't have enough space for the two of them.

“I see, If it is about money then. I can”

"No, we can’t do that, Pyrrha, you are our friend. We can’t take advantage of your kindness. We will try to find a job outside Vale. And when Beacon is repaired. We will be back.”

Pyrrha felt even more guilt when she heard him call her their friend. They thought like that, but she never felt the same until he told her that.

And when Ren was about to call Nora to say farewell to everyone then leave Vale in order for them to find a job. Jaune stopped them first.

“You two are looking for a job! That’s great! I will open a store in Vale. I could use your help if you want to and don’t worry about the money. I didn’t give it to you two for free but I will hire you two. What about that?”
