Hospital room
Added 2022-04-02 22:01:00 +0000 UTCCici woke up in the hospital room. Both her arms were completely messed up.
All 6 arm bones were broken into pieces and the swelling made it too dangerous to get her casted. Therefore, the doctors placed her in traction to wait for the swelling to go down. The doctor told Cici that she will be in traction for a week or two to see if the swelling will improve.
Alice was at her side when she woke up.
"You should be the one taking care of me!" complained Alice, "But I guess I will have to take care of you now."
"I am sorry, but if it was not for that urgent phone call, I would not have ran to you. How are you feeling?" replied Cici.
"I am ok. But I guess both of us are out of a job now..." said Alice.
"You don't have to worry about money. I will deal with that." responded Cici.
"How am I not worried? You are in bed and I got fired for not getting to work on the first day!" said Alice.
That is when they heard a cry from out of the window.
It was Diane flying outside the window.
