Out smoking

You saw this beautiful girl inside. She opened the door but she is just shuffling inside the car with out getting out.
It took her a while and when she finally got out, you see a freshly casted leg pull out of the car.
After much effort, she got out and pulled out her pair of crutches. She crutched towards the front of her car and then just sat on the railing.
I wonder who she is waiting for.
