Even though they might not do things legally, but they respect their honor code.
If you made a mistake, the code will have a punishment for you. They call that the family law. There are many rules that one follow in the triad.
For some triad, fingers were chopped off, but for this triad, your bones are broken. If you made a mistake, they will break a bone on you. If you question the boss, you get your ankles broken.
If you borrow money from them, one of the most important rule is, the debt must be paid, interest and all.
She borrowed from a triad that made their mark in loan shark business. But the pandemic is hard on everyone. She couldn't repay them and went into hiding. That was a big mistake.
