I like this panel a lot! Not perfect since I basically wanted to make it feels like the Boy was kind of pressing against Tera to keep him from going back to fight Muta, and so have Tera really bending over the Boy cause he's tall yk- The pic is okay tho.

Not much dialogue but body language and lovely details!
On the first page we're still on confused-Tera, as we talk about last time! Those latest updates with Muta made me realize how hard it was to show Tera's emotions with his helmet. With his mask a lot more of his neck is showing, and I can at least make him clench his jaw etc. So I gotta use his body: His hands are bruised because he tightened the belt so much around Muta's neck. This is to emphasize his anger.
The Boy gets really tired of those fights, this is something he's not used to. But he and Tera are definitely getting closer, am I right-
"Then you shoulda killed me." It sounds like the start of a plot line... watch Tera handle this lol. Y'all ain't ready.

We now have a rather complete knowledge of Tera's behavior I think (the dark side at least). The fact that he is hot-blooded (?? meaning he can get really mad pretty quickly). He has a hard time calming down, and even keep staring at Muta while they are back at the bike; like he's still thinking about killing him lol.
The Boy notices it- (btw note that the Boy clearly didn't understand Tera wanted to kill Muta "he could have died!") So pure-

Sooo huuh... I hope you noticed the Boy's hair in Tera's Neck etc u///u And the fact that he's leaning against Tera much more than previously.

2022-10-05 20:22:26 +0000 UTCQuestion intéressante haha- Il faut bien se mettre dans la tête du garçon: les seules choses qu’il a vu de Tera c’est un braquage un peu soft pendant lequel Tera jouait avec lui, des gue-guerres de gang de rue, et cette scène avec Muta (qui lui fait comprendre que Tera sait être violent, et c’est la première fois!). Le garçon méprise un peu tout ça et y porte très peu d’intérêt. C’est encore très extérieur à son monde. Si j’ai bien fait les choses on doit se rendre compte que le garçon est un peu curieux: très stoïque dans les pires situations (parce qu’il ne réalise pas, et aussi parce qu’il est très confiant, il est difficile à impressionner) et surtout pas rancunier, il est conduit par ses émotions à un instant T. Donc je dirais que pour le moment, il voit Tera comme un voyou, mais seulement pour le spectacle; il ne se doute pas encore que ça s’enracine beaucoup plus profondément. Plus tard ça va devenir un peu plus flou, et puis le garçon finira par s’exprimer la dessus, ne t’en fait pas 😌

OU il ne comprend vraiment pas ce qu'il ce passe avec black death et Tera ou même Joris ? Nan parce que il est pas plus choqué que ça de tout ces événements qu'il lui arrive. Il est anesthésié par tout ça ?

2022-10-02 18:20:55 +0000 UTCMany apologies in advance for yet another long comment. I wonder… is this the point from where on (in hindsight) it all “went wrong”…?! Maybe back then the Boy would have been able to talk himself out of that bad situation with Muta, because clearly, Muta is pissed about the incident with the bicycle – not so much about the fact that one of his guys (Tom) got shot in the leg. I mean… what do you do to a kid like the Boy, who has no gang-connection and clearly no ill intentions? Probably a very bad beating, hardly a kill for crushing into someone by accident. He tried to help back then… and even provided a hanky for Muta. Tera’s interference might have saved the Boy back then… but bringing a Black Death into the picture makes it a whole different matter- big egos, big names, larger than life reputations. Muta had time to brood over the whole incident – and already has an issue with Tera personally – “defending his sister’s innocence” (which wasn’t even there to begin with, according to Tera. He would know, go figure). Now it’s personal for the both of them, Muta and Tera alike – and I doubt that Tera might have the backup he needs to carry through with this – if Muta has relations with Luc. Yanno… business relations. Maybe Kain would help his “brother in crime” – at least until he gets the knack of the whole situation. I have a feeling there are way too many strings attached to break free easily – it’s more like each step on this journey which gets the Boy and Tera closer, entangles them more and more in a web with strings reaching way back into their past and future. The Boy still thinks this was an accident. And Tera did a remarkable good job of calming down… on the outside. Enough to set straight priorities… Killing Muta will have to wait, getting the Boy home safely is paramount (I don’t take Tera for someone leveling empty threats). I was so curious if the Boy would shy away from Tera after this impressive display of violence and rage. Turns out it’s quite the opposite – he acted on gut instinct, trusting Tera enough that Tera would “listen” to him. Obviously, he feels save with Tera. What will happen if he witnesses not so much of an “accident” – but a calculated kill. Especially if there’s the feeling that Tera did it for him. Or had to do it because of him. Not sure which might be worse… I love the nonchalant fact that Tera is sorry the boy had to see all this – but not the least sorry about what he did. To him, his actions are perfectly reasonable and justified – that’s how you deal with this in his world. The Boy stepped into a realm he doesn’t comprehend. It was quiet shocking to see the Boy swear a heartfelt “fuxx you”, but I guess that’s because everything is upside-down for him – “what’s wrong with y’all”?! – must really seem like it, for someone not playing by those rules like Tera and Muta do. We know how the Boy deals with occurring obstacles… hiding it behind the curtain, closing his eyes or simply pretending not to know… some special coping mechanisms in full gear. Tera already knows where the Boy lives – both of them seem absorbed in their own isolated thoughts on their way back, but very close nonetheless and comfortable with it – enough to almost miss the stop. They Boy’s perspective about Tera has completely changed since their last encounter in a car trunk really not so long ago. The Boy is even “handling” Tera, not in self defense but like you would with a trustworthy person who wouldn’t take it “the wrong way”. Getting off the bike and shoving Teras arm… like other people would undo a seatbelt when they get out of the car. And just like that – no looking back, but instead focusing yet again on trying to help someone else. I hope Mr. Gaston isn’t moving. But a vacant room in the building might not be the worst thing if you want to keep an eye on the lively Boy – maybe moving is why Mr. Gaston came with a potted plant and a book the other day… but with just one suitcase probably more of a vacation trip. Is it a bad thing to admit I loved how it all played out? Especially the violent part? Stoic Tera losing his temper might have revealed way too much to Muta. Teras weak spot is obvious now, and if Tera might no longer have Black Death as a backup… there also might be a few more people who have to settle a score with him. Them. Easier to go after a lone wolf than after the whole pack. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Loved the update and how everything played out so far – very relatable and deep-laid. Kudos!

Edit: I also love that despite the boy being a bit of a clutz n getting into trouble he still tries to help people, despite everything they've done, and I think that makes him such an amazing character!

Favorite comic by a mile!

Although it might be harsh but Tera was right: in a world were nothing is as valuable as honour you can only loose. I hope Tera sticks around and will manage to get a hold on Muta before Muta gets to the boy.
