3D Artwork Guidelines

Guidelines when requesting 3D artwork. If in doubt with something, don’t hesitate to ask!

An album of the creatures I have overall here.

• These will be static images, not animations. I’m not comfortable enough with the animation features in my software to take on animation in this way as of right now.

• Generally speaking,  the Patreon requests are Artistic Freedom.  You provide a general idea for the scene and I’ll work with that. If you know a specific model/character I have in 3D you’d like to see you can specify that however. Examples:
  • <Yes>   “I’d like a dinosaur vore scene in a jungle, sometime around early morning or noon and if possible include a good view of its stomach.”
  • <Yes>  “I’d like your Constrictor snake in an urban setting, slithering off having eaten something human’ish-sized!”
  • <No>  “I want this character in this exact pose from this specific angle with two others doing this and that over here off to the side and up on the other side there’ll be a….”
• --The first example is perfect.  It provides a view of what you’d like without bogging it down in details.
• --The second example is also good. You know a creature I have, provided a setting, and want a standard sized bulge in its belly but not a massive one.
• --The third however, is too specific and goes on a bit too long.  Again, these are Artistic Freedom requests, so most of the specifics are up to me.
  • If you aren’t willing to provide Artistic Freedom, then consider a 2D drawing instead!

• I’m not a modeler/sculptor, not yet anyway, so I’m largely limited to the content I have on-hand.  This means:
  • I won’t be able to create your Original Characters. If you want your OC as a request, take a Colored Sketch instead.
  • Most games I probably won’t be able to use models from, but I do have a very limited supply of monsters from Monster Hunter as models though not a significant amount. Unlike certain users on FA, I also don’t have access to the NPCs or Hunter models, so I can’t have a monster eat them for instance.

• If you can supply a model of your character to use, it must be a SFW model and be in a format I can use. Preferably, it must be rigged when exported too otherwise I'll need to add a cost for the rigging process.  Recommended formats are  FBX, Collada, or UnityPackages.

• If a model I have is close enough to a character of yours and the main difference is the texture(s),  I may be able to use 3DCoat and/or Substance to replicate your character’s look. If I think I may be able to do it, I’ll let you know.
