I've got scammed!

So i was dumb and decided to trust some random user for a commission without requiring upfront payment...and as you can imagine, the guy just disappeared after i delivered them the scene.

Well i guess that's the last time i'm gonna be nice to someone.

From now on i'm only going to accept requests via Pixiv Requests, that way i can be sure i protect my interests as well as those of my client.

At any rate, the damage has already been done, so i guess i'll just suck it up and share with all of you the scenes i created for that jerk...at least in this way it won't feel like it was a complete waste of time.

The first scene is animated with basic piston movements, while the second uses time line

Hope you'll enjoy it and be safe. CIAO!

We live and learn. Just see it as a learning experience, and you will grow from it, simple as that. This says nothing bad about you, but about the person who screwed you over. Trust requires faith in a person, something one just can't blindly put out there, and they weren't trustworthy, simple as that. Reserve your trust for people you know you can. Life is our School, and Class is ALWAYS in session!

You live and you learn! XD

Yeah, i wanted to be trusting for once, but obviously it was naive. Won't happen again. LOL

Yeha, i wasn't really feeling it either but since the initial request was simple, i decided to make an exception. In the end he kept asking to make more stuff for him, that he would pay a much higher sum at the end. That's when i knew i wasted my time but, oh well. Lesson learned. >.>

i normally only accept requests through pixiv system, but since i planned to charge less than 3k i agreed to make an exception this time around. Never again. -_-

Sorry to hear this. Sadly, there are quite a few like that, so it is best to get payment up front, or once the project is complete, just my opinion.

the only suggestion is that once you finish a work, publish it on a platform and pay for the product as other authors do, I recommend that you use Patreon or gumroad, which many other authors are currently using
