Flimpo Friday Update (6/20/2025)

A Patreon Discord server member going by "the name collector" brought to our attention that it has now been over a year since the original Mandlebrot Hall trailer dropped! Woah!! Time really flies when you're flimpin on...thank you so much for sticking around all this time y'all!
Unfortunately a cold has been going through the studio for the past week or so- Reid and I already caught it and Ren's only just going through it now. Thankfully it's pretty mild- and we still have been getting a lot done!
While we already got a good start on chunk "A", we had to move on to the next chunk at the start of the month to maintain schedule. Now we're on chunk C, and progress for this month is looking decent. We have about a dozen shots with rough animation complete, and even more with layouts ready.
All of our voice over retakes have been placed in the animatic- the only things we need to record are Ren and Reid's small cameos! (I have one too, but it's purely visual and requires no recording)
Next week, we'll continue animation as usual- moving on to cleaning up and coloring both animation and backgrounds. With a few more colored backgrounds under our belt, we can include them in our merch pamphlet design, place our overnight order for those, and pack some BackerKit fulfillment orders!
