Flimpo Friday Update (5-16-2025)

Hello everyone, it's Ren- happy Flimpo Friday!

We have officially launched the next phase of Mandelbrot Hall's production- the animation phase! After several months of hard work, the animatic is locked, save for some minor timing adjustments that need to be made after we record retakes with our voice actors.

Going into the next phase entails a whole lot of organizing and planning- which means it's spreadsheet time! We've been breaking down how much work we'll need to get done month by month in order to reach our deadline: January 31st, 2026. We haven't yet announced this deadline on our public social media, so you all are the first to hear it. We aim to have the episode completed (but not publicly available) by that date in order to submit to choice film festivals. Keep an eye out on our socials for a new series documenting that process.

With the animatic locked, we're also getting the ball rolling on sound design and music. We have some incredibly talented people lined up to work on the episode and are excited to hear what they can do.

In non-Mandelbrot related news, we've migrated our shop from BigCartel to Square. All the same items are available, but do keep an eye out for a shop refresh in the near future as well.
