Happy Flimpo Friday everyone!
Reid here to wish a belated Happy Trans Day of Visibility to all who celebrated. This week we had a late upload for my Flimpo Freestyle celebrating TDoV, but it is now live!
This week has been a pretty standard production week for all of us. Ren has wrapped up sorting through voice lines and flagging lines for retakes, meaning our rough animatic now has scratch dialogue! The animatic is coming together at a good pace, and most of the remaining work will be refining timing and cleaning up the storyboards. It's super exciting to be able to watch a very rough cut of the full episode!
Milo has been doing a lot of location design stuff. This week they've been working on a ultra-wide establishing shot that is going to look amazing. Meanwhile, Ren and I have resumed working on prop sheets for all of the remaining unfinished assets.
Next week we'll all be headed to Toronto for TAAFI (Toronto Animation Arts Festival International)! While there, Ren will be representing us on the Independent Creators Panel Saturday April 12th at 3pm. If you'll be attending the festival that day, you don't want to miss it; we'll be sharing an exclusive sneak peak of the Mandelbrot Hall pilot!
For all backers, you should see a new charge on your cards for shipping costs. Please double check your account as we did have some cards that declined. We'll begin packing and shipping out orders after we get back from TAAFI.
