Flimpo Friday Update (3-21-25)

First of all, thank you SO much to everyone who showed up at MoCCA's SVA table over the weekend! It's always so cool to meet you folks IRL, and thank you to the many folks who purchased merch or dropped a business card/freebie by the table. I'm so glad we've fostered such a kind community!
Besides MoCCA, Mandelbrot Hall's production has been going strong recently!
The first pass of recording is almost complete- all but one voice actor has recorded their lines (and the last one is scheduled tomorrow!) Listening to our actors bring these characters to life is so much fun, they are doing an incredible job and have added so much life to this project.
Speaking of the voice acting, it's been a big help with making the animatic! Now that we have the (close to final) dialogue, we can start making a more polished storyboard and animatic- which is great news for anyone coming to see us at TAAFI next month!
The main focus of design this week has been on location design- Reid's been working on exteriors, and I've been doing interiors. Ren has been helping with flats and colors for all of these designs, and the design bible is taking shape piece by piece.
And finally, I'm up for Flimpo Freestyle this week! More on that on the post itself, available to $3 patrons and up later tonight. Not to spoil it or anything but it does indeed include a little guy
This week's Maisy pic showcases her fully engulfed in her favorite thing of all time: blanket. She's ready to rest up for the weekend, and so are we!
