Flimpo Friday Update (3-14-25)

We've been keeping busy this week with location design, prop design, and preparing the thumbnail animatic for Mandelbrot Hall. We did a visual overhaul of our background style, and the new finished test layout Milo made looks awesome- and was completed much more efficiently than our first attempt! Milo and Reid have also done work on multiple location designs that will be referenced for storyboards and to create layouts for the episode.
I took the scratch audio from our table read and our current thumbnails drawn by Reid to create a preliminary animatic- this is one of the very first versions of the episode to exist! It's extremely rough in its current state, but it's cool to see nevertheless. As we refine storyboards and record with our voice actors one-on-one over the next two weeks, we'll continue to update the animatic until it's nice and polished.
In other news, we have officially returned from our social media hiatus! Thank you all so much for your patience and continued support while we took our break. The time taken to recharge was much needed- after all, we're a group of artists, not an infinite content machine. We're excited to get back to weekly short videos as well publicly share our new freestyle animations.
