Hello everyone, Reid here! This is what we've been up to this week:
The first of our silly weekly animations is now available for $3 patrons and above! It will be posted publicly next week, but patrons get early access. These little animations will be made individually by one of us, rotating each week. This week's animation was made by yours truly!
In the realm of Mandelbrot Hall, we've been working on visual development and creating assets based on our new script. This is mostly designing props and making adjustments to locations to fit our budget. I've finished thumbnailing all the new sections of the script and now just have to compile it all into a rough animatic. Once that's done, I'll be working with Ren to refine the thumbnails into proper storyboards.
Also, we did a table read of the script today with the cast (minus Weird Al, who unfortunately couldn't make it)! Everyone did a great job, and it was so exciting to hear the characters come to life. Individual voice recording sessions will happen throughout the month, so soon we'll have scratch audio to use for the animatic stage!
Now that surveys are locked for Backerkit, we can start packing orders. Keep in mind that it'll just be the three of us working on this, so it might still be a while before you receive your perks! Thank you all for your patience!
