Flimpo Friday Update (2-26-2024)
Added 2024-02-26 22:18:25 +0000 UTCHello everybody, welcome back to Flimpo Friday (Monday? What do you mean?)! Reason for delay: Milo was out of town this past weekend and didn't have time to write up an update, which I (Ren) didn't realize until today. Oops!
Milo was absent for an exciting reason though; they were attending the DaVinci Film Festival in LA, where their thesis film - THE EVERYTHING IS OK SHOW - was screening! It's a fantastic and touching film, and I can't wait for everyone here to see it. If the rest of its festival run goes smoothly, we'll be uploading it to Studio Flimpo's YouTube channel in a few months.
We continued work on the Mandelbrot Hall thumbnail storyboards, and they're nearly complete. It's a lot of fun! In considerably less fun news, it's tax season. We've had to allocate a considerable amount of time for that as well as other bureaucratic and legal work, but it's all in the name of keeping our small business running smoothly so that we can do what we love.
March is coming up fast, and it's going to be a very busy month for us. We're ready to hit the ground running; we'll be tying down storyboards for the Mandelbrot Hall trailer, developing merch as crowdfund rewards, and opening calls for voice actors.
