Flimpo Friday Update (1-26-24)

Hi hi!! It's Milo again, I'm no longer sick and feeling all better now! Unfortunately, I did see that Ren deviated from the standard Flimpo Friday Format...so I gave them my cold as punishment.

(Out of character: I did actually give Ren my cold on accident but we're both totally better now lol)

We're still chipping away with Mandelbrot Hall's pre-production. Maven's character turnarounds and expression sheets are done! $3 and $5 can see them now, before the turnarounds go public in a week. Ren has been helping out with expression sheets, and laying out a more detailed production schedule for the next few months. I'm still working on location designs, you may have seen one of the sketches in today's video! Unfortunately though, a lot of my time this week was eaten up by fixing back-end web development issues because of our WIX cancellation. It's been well worth it so far, but please be patient as we figure out a way to fix our link redirects We're looking to be able to start thumbnail storyboards early February, which is gonna be a lot of fun! 

I also finished the storyboards for the 5th JOY animation, it's a fun one! Can't wait to post the animatic for $5 patrons when it's clear to post- likely next week.

We've also been attending Animation First at FI:AF in NYC- and will continue to throughout the weekend. There are lots of incredible films and programs happening there, and we've already met a few supporters in person! If you see us- say hi (or bonjour because it's the French film festival, we won't judge and two-thirds of us speak some French.)
