Flimpo Friday Update (1-12-24)

First off- we're going to the Animation First film festival hosted by FI:AF in NYC! It's an incredible French animation festival we've attended a few times while we were students, and if you're in the city we highly recommend going to see at least one film program. We'll be there almost the entire week, (18th-22nd), so if you see us, come say hi! :-D
Apologies for the day late update- we got a bit distracted with our new Discord Server! It's for Patrons only and it has been lovely chatting/hanging out with y'all so far. We'll be hosting some fun events there soon, and we're open to event suggestions if you have any! If you still haven't joined the discord server and still want to, you'll need to link your Discord account to your Patreon account
Mandelbrot Hall development is in full swing! Reid has finished the character turnarounds for Jackie and the expression sheets are also under way. The turnarounds will be posted publicly, but the animated turnaround + finished expression sheets will only be available for $3 Patrons and above. Expect those early next week (this week?). Ren has finished an awesome draft of the script, and we're going to begin showing it to trusted beta readers. My role has been more on the administrative side this week, mostly script supervision and setting up the discord, but I'm eager to start doing some location/background designs ASAP. Thanks again for all the lovely fan art and we'll print out the newest batch for The Mandelbrot Wall™ soon!
One more JOY podcast animation is on the books, but can't post about it yet!
