PSA I noticed my video audio was sounding a lot better in editing and the original file source vs when uploaded to YouTube. After trying to figure it out and deleting/reuploading etc I realised it's because my YouTube had "stable audio" turned on. This isn't something I can turn off on my end as a creator as it's a viewer control that essentially stabilizes audio by increasing lows and decreasing peaks. To me this really affects how my video sounds as the background white noise gets increased. I would suggest turning this off when watching my vids that are uploaded to YouTube, you can do so by clicking on the gears where you adjust the video quality and you'll see a toggle that says "stable volume" and you can turn it off there. Ofc you can watch content however you want but I do think for my asmr it sounds better turned off (also maybe you guys have already figured this out before me xD) hehe anyway thought I'd let you know just in case!!
