Dev-Update 31-08-23

Hi, everyone. I hope you guys are doing well.  This is the final update post before the game release. I will explain everything in a few points about the latest update.

1. STORY - [30k words] 100%:

I'm done with the script, there are slight changes to the end of this episode, but there is nothing left to write on episode 4. I know this episode has a lot of new characters and world-building but it was necessary for future episodes.

There were a lot of questions about Jennifer and Mikayla, this update will clear up those questions.

Cynthia the neighbor will break another boundary.

Even Chloe has a scene in this update, you will find her personality a bit different from the previous episode for obvious reasons.

2. SCENES 85%:

Only one and a half scenes are left to make, I would have completed all this sooner but I was also focusing on the rendering. And the 2nd last scene was a bit time-consuming because of the setup, I did the setup all by myself instead of using a readymade one. Also, lewd scenes are more time-consuming. Both lewd scene has 120+ renders and 3 animations each.

3. RENDERS: 70%

I wanted this to be around 90% but rendering is the most time-consuming task of them all. I will focus on this more after I'm done with making new scenes.

4. ANIMATIONS - 100%:

All six animations are done. I am happy I was able to make them without many difficulties. I did see a few animation tutorials to learn animations and how to make them look better, Usually, they keep five points of transmission to make smooth, seamless animations but I use 4 points because I want to keep the frame count under 100.

Daz doesn't render animations, it renders still images. If there are 73 frames of one animation and one frame takes 5 minutes to render that means a total of 365 minutes, 6 hours more or less.

5. RERENDERS: [DELAYED]:

Because I wanted to release the update as soon as possible I have stopped making rerenders for now, after the release I will focus on this. Rerenders were taking a lot of time, which I was lacking. So I think before the public release I will be done with the rerenders.

6. CODING: 75%:

I have finished coding most of the scenes and updated the walkthrough mode. I have fixed the Maya's scene which was not present before.

7. TESTING: 

After packaging the game I will test it for 3 days, to confirm there is no error and crashes. I hope the last build didn't crash for you. I didn't receive any complaints about its stability. So I want to keep this up. 

We are close to the final release, I will ping you once when I start testing the build.
