Nahida isn't in Alhaitham's head 100% of the time, she steps away and comes back when she wants, takes control or sits out in the periphery, observing the world. On a cognitive level, she's close to a supercomputer, on a social level however, she is just a child who spent all her life in isolation, man-made specifically, that's why she's wary of Kaveh, but eventually warms up to him
