i mentioned in one of my recent posts that i got some new brushes and art pointers from other artists and was hooked up with some art books. since then i picked out a few sketches to test these things out.
let me know what you think, are they different? how different? like it more? like it less? ive enjoyed working on these so far

yea i used different brushes, im liking it more right now so ill do more coloring in this style. will see how i feel about it later for now i find it refreshing

And now that I've read this post and gone back to the pics, I noticed a lot more pronounced hatching/cross-hatching for your shadows and gradients. None of this is bad, just what I'm observing! I can't say I prefer one style more than the other, but it's definitely neat to see you experimenting.
