Take a first glance at Vi's Dorm Room at Awkwarts.
It took some time because I built it up from scratch, but I have to say, I like it quite a lot.
My goal was to find a design that lays between historical and modern. Awkwarts is (just like Dark Falls) a border between the modern world and the ancient world of magic and therefore contains elements of both. The castle was built in the Middle Ages, but each generation of students, teachers and deans added something new, something modern but not too modern. There's still a big difference between Awkwarts and what people like the MC are used to from the current time the game is set.
I also - once again - try myself at God-Ray effects. Last time I did this, I failed hard, but this time, using different tools, I have to say, I'm making progress:
