Expanding on no one asking about Seral, Swift probably didn’t quite believe the pups’ story of a rabbit killing Seral considering how she said that hunting in the woods will be “easy”, but whether or not she believes it was a rabbit or not she seems very unconcerned about the fact that SOMETHING in the woods killed Seral. As far as we know, she didn’t even investigate his corpse to see that something did a clean one shot that I don’t even think a bear can make. She’s just going to sniff around for prey like nothing out of the ordinary has happened and leave her injured husband and completely defenseless kids without any pre-cautionary steps? I’ve said it in the Discord and I’ll say it here, as wrong as her comment was for the particular wolves she appeared to aim it towards, but Pivot may have been on to something about “wild wolves having rocks between their ears” and “not listening until blood hits the grass” when it comes to Swift.

2025-04-17 05:02:22 +0000 UTCI may have missed something, but why have none of the wolves asked about Seral? He kinda just didn’t come back, and now there’s only one good hunter and one old wolf to offer. Did they just assume he was killed by Swift?
