Having a place they can be safe is appealing, but what happens when winter sets in? A family of wolves needs much more food than a marten or a badger, and Rask's food situation is more than a little precarious. I can see Swift wanting to talk to Rask and learn from Oren, as she's already a forward-thinker. And she will likely feel some form of debt toward Hemlock. But what will happen when the threat of starvation sets in?

And Swift apparently starts to connect the dots and maybe is going to give a second thought to that "safe place" at the lake. Poor Red feels left out because he didn't see flying rabbits or hares wielding fire. ;))
