Your art and storytelling is absolutely stellar but I think some panel tweaks here would really boost the intense feeling of this moment!

2023-11-22 03:26:35 +0000 UTCMhm, not so sure the pups are going to die, at least not both of them. I think there might a possible parallel between them and Hemlock's little ones. Also small predators meeting small prey animals would open a number of interesting possibilities/interactions (if the wolves will ever get to the Hollow). Still, I'm afraid Seral will find the pups before long. I hope he is not a stone cold killer but we will see how the story develops.

2023-11-21 07:29:26 +0000 UTCIn the last 3 panels is Singer looking at the losing fight, slowly standing up on his 2 hind paws, turning around with his eyes still shifted at it, then looking straight forward and just walking away?! Oh Please tell me it’s a casual, moderately paced walk like nothing’s happening. 😂🤣 I imagine that in Singer’s perspective, this fight makes it look like they’re bison being hunted for food now, and not even like a couple of wolves having the tables turned on them by other wolves. My guess for future pages is that Seral is successful in killing one or both of the pups and then either A. he finds out he has to face Swift’s wrath all by himself because Scree ended up listening to Swift instead of the other way around as he hoped or B. The deal he made with the dominating pack is off due to the damage caused by trying to merge packs and the uncertainty caused by Scree’s betrayal. Seral is becoming more and more alone about agreeing to merge with this new pack than he thought when he last talked to Red. I think Gristle sort of sucks for putting these, now evidently, self destructive ways of survival into Seral’s head, but he also did tell Swift that a clever wolf knows the path forward, Seral probably isn’t a clever wolf that will wisely navigate this whole situation that’s deteriorating behind his back.

2023-11-21 03:51:32 +0000 UTCI have wolf dogs and I’ve had them fight more than a few times. That bite isn’t fatal. But he’s not going to be able to attack swift, or defend himself from scree. So what happens next is going to be “not suitable for all audiences.” Lol.

2023-11-21 03:39:14 +0000 UTCI feel bad for Keen though, like most of the characters he is just some guy trying to live his life. He's a villain in Swift's story but he did not seem malicious any more than any wolf would be given the lives they lead. It's a testament to the worldbuilding that most characters, even secondary characters with small roles, feel well-rounded.
