2023-11-07 10:27:21 +0000 UTCThe surprise on Singer’s face in that third panel is delightful. I do feel like he underestimated Scree, though. Even if she’s not loyal to Swift as a leader, she’s absolutely helped raise those pups and, unless she’s completely stone cold like Singer seems to be, she has to have some attachment to them. She would’ve helped hunt to feed them, protected them, most likely even babysat them a few times. She would’ve treated them like family to keep up the facade and Swift’s pack would’ve treated her like family, too, not knowing any better. No matter how it goes, I think in this instance, Singer made a mistake thinking Scree was the same wolf his zenith pair sent to infiltrate a rival pack.
