Oh yeah there’s no doubt that this is going to get crazy. Hemlock asked Oren what he’ll do if wolves showed up and I can’t wait to see how he’ll approach this situation and if Rask’s philosophy to stop hunters through showing them a more peaceful way to get a meal with this new forming society will work.

I'm glad she didn't walk out of the story for too long. She's definitely my favorite character overall, just due to how complex she is.

2022-06-13 21:51:58 +0000 UTCSo it’s sort of kind of the worst case scenario for the wolves, but also sort of kind of the best case scenario for the warren and Hemlock’s group so far. Swift and Ramble didn’t investigate further, so now they might just barge in thinking they’re dealing with a few antsy bunnies and squirrels that give them small nips and kicks. For her philosophy of trying to strike first, Hemlock’s going to go to town with this situation. This is an ok situation for Oren too because he understands the advantage of ambushing predators. They might lose a few in the initial attack by the wolves though.
