More Before/After Update Art
Added 2021-05-31 22:31:00 +0000 UTCHere's a few more of the before/after artwork updates I'm working on for the print edition. A couple are from the stream on Saturday (if anyone's interested in a time lapse video of that, let me know and I'll put it together!)
This whole section I'm going through now (pg ~64-85) was a weird transition after a long hiatus from the comic-- I was really out of practice drawing Rask. It's also when Hemlock and Sprig show up and neither had a reference sheet or final designs at that point. I'm glad for the excuse to go back and visually tie this part of the graphic novel into the latter half.

2021-06-01 06:10:57 +0000 UTCThomas Kubler mentioned the difference in the characters' mouths, but it was the change in the eyes that I noticed first. A casual reader might not notice the change over time, but I'm sure it must me much more satisfying for Teagan to get these pages sorted out.

2021-06-01 00:00:45 +0000 UTCIt's really interesting to see how art evolves over time. I've been following the comics since before Rask ran into the wolves, and I didn't particularly notice a change of style during the course of the story, but with this kind of side-by-side comparisons… wow !
