Always watch the new people i'd say for 6 months then after that its prob alright to ease up. The real test though...is Winter... if that succeeds? Then predators can cement themselves for sure. Only thing I can think of is Ice Fishing... unless they find some way to preserve bugs too??? Eggs would be very difficult I feel.

As if he thinks deep down he didn’t do enough to protect Sprig, carrying some guilt for his death (which we can’t fully blame him for due to sprig’s killer being Rask’s DAD).

But if you can transform that which you fear into allied unification then not even the Gluttons could touch you probably. Adding a mixture of strengths and weaknesses is key to survival. And once more hear that this sort of thing is even possible, they will flock to your banner, hunter/predator and prey alike. Magnificent page btw VERY well done and worth a small delay hahaha. Also side note, someone needs to tell that rock squirrel that Squirrels also eat small mammals ...one of the most horrifying things i've ever found out O o...besides if things work out well hunters can teach the prey especially the kits (via playing) how to survive BEING hunted to atleast prolong how long they can last in an encounter for help to arrive or even escape etc...best to be learned at a young age not at an old one though.
