He couldnt do a thing for Sprig it was too late by the time he hit the ground lol... that was a jugular bite he was dead...Yarrow just snapped his neck because he "hates those pathetic noises"... it was an impossible situation...he didnt even KNOW Sprig was on that Tree. And no Hemlock was done lol Yarrow was about to chomp her easily in the back of the neck and trust me from that angle she WASNT getting that spear not to mention how worthless it woulda been in that close of a proximity she was capital DEAD...come on now...the whole point of that fight is to knock Hemlock down a peg you can kinda tell, Yarrow overwhelmed her AND mocked her it was effortless on his part... it was a wakeup call... she was done and you know it, its alright to like a character but your just favoring her she was completely overwhelmed and easily. Actually not even meant as a slam, Yarrow was just THAT powerful. But Rask is stronger still. Yarrow WAS a lunatic simply because he basically killed for no reason... Rask was even shocked as he had "Cached" there was simply no need for it. What Hemlock is doing is NOT natural shes a vengeful killer plain and simple and until she develops shes just not likable (she tried to spear Rask...the one who SAVED HER LIFE shes a complete monster lol... again see how he dodged her? And while shocked even? telling you Rask is very competent and much stronger than Hemlock). And I didnt say nothin about "two martens" she simply couldnt handle Yarrow period but I will agree she really messed up not waiting for those reinforcements of course they can take a marten with a bunch of spears i'll agree there, was just saying shes insanely overconfident/arrogant BEYOND comprehension and obviously never matched a seasoned predator like yarrow (dude was a 4 hp bared boss fight)... I think Hemlock WILL come around and develop in the future but she needs to wake up a bit first. Killing yarrow was a BIG mistake too... he was a BEAST and Rask seemed to be getting through to him...woulda been another fighter in their arsenal...and a REALLY good one at that... I WILL say that it IS possible Yarrow held back against Rask but thats the only other possible conclusion because as seen it looks like Rask easily outstaged Hemlock... granted that dagger basically really upped his game. Something we all gotta understand...is Yarrow is STILL a Marten...and Hemlock is STILL a Rabbit...Martens drag Rabbits out of their DENS screaming ...they are insanely aggressive and effective killing machines and Yarrow was a veteran in his PRIME...

2021-02-08 02:21:27 +0000 UTCRask trying to 'lightside' that encounter is arguably what got Sprig killed, he didn't have the nerve to go for Yarrow. Taking the brunt of Yarrow after standing around and just watching him finish off Sprig is a bit so-so Say what you will about Hemlock, she wouldn't have hesitated and she had the sense to summon reinforcements. How she goofed was by not WAITING for those reinforcements. As you are right, alone she's not going to be able to handle two Martens. Her and all her friends though? Different story. Although even on the floor she was *still* going for her spear so I wouldn't count her out yet. Tenacity is a hell of a thing. Edit: Also Yarrow wasn't a lunatic, he was doing what he felt was natural, what in fact was natural, which is killing and eating prey. Much like Hemlock is doing what she feels is necessary to ensure the survival of herself and her people. This is a pretty brutal setting, life isn't as sacred as it is in the modern day. Hell even in the modern day such things and worse still occur with disturbing frequency.

That solves nothing not even shes THAT foolish... she'll come crawling back once all her people or most get killed...as for Rask he cared a ton about Sprig ...he was shocked...my dude yarrow was FAST and a complete BEAST... she was DEF out-staged thats not deniable lol (she was done in like 2 panels...easily dodged...taken down...and MOCKED...she was HUMILIATED) Rask took the brunt of yarrow and she stood zero chance against yarrow you cannot possibly deny this lol...she woulda been easy pickings if Rask hadn't tackled him off her she was dead and terrified the moment Yarrow engaged her directly it was over (in fact Oren warned several bloody times that NONE of them can handle this alone and he was RIGHT...because unlike Hemlock hes not a fool and he knows what a competent predator is capable of...)...but ya you try reacting to a lunatic after a seeming CALM conversation (yarrow cached, he was calm, seemed sane...well turns out hes a lunatic lol I wouldnt have been able to do anything in Rask's shoes it was shock it was all over his face...)...I guarantee you wouldnt be able to react to a sudden move like a freakin JEDI JUMP into a TREE... hes timid but when the ferocity comes out Rask is a boss. Figures he IS a Marten afterall. Hemlocks a great pretender who got a massive wakeup call and couldnt handle it. I mean the only reason Rask hasnt trashed her is because he doesn't wanna hurt anyone thats blatantly obvious he tried to Light Side that whole encounter and has made it a fact that he plans on proceeding without bloodshed in general, but he IS capable of it and a Rabbit wearing a bobcat coat pretending to be a predator doesnt make them one but one thing she IS would be a flat out murderer/killer hell bent on vengeance that some seriously evil traits so not a fan and I dont think we ARE supposed to like her to be honest, least not yet.

2021-02-08 01:32:52 +0000 UTCIf she thinks it's a sinking ship why would she leave what she feels are good people behind? I wouldn't say she was upstaged by Rask either, Rask quite literally stood by as Sprig was killed and did nothing to stop Yarrow from killing his supposed friend.

Rasks doesnt wanna fight but he proved he CAN big time... though losing those numbers may be bad albeit we dont know exactly how many there were to begin with. Long Term this is a good thing im sure, short term there will probably be a struggle... however kind of a lowblow to take EVERY warrior from a place you claim to care about... wouldnt expect more from Hemlock though XD

2021-02-05 02:21:43 +0000 UTCActually Hemlock is still terrified of predators the Yarrow fight showed us this, shes just arrogant as hell and mostly just talk...Most likely going to be a burden not a resource haha. Glad she got knocked down a few pegs but sucks about Sprig = ( wish we coulda traded Sprig getting offed for Hemlock getting offed XD. Really irked me more when she basically said Oren was the one pretending to be something new when she thinks shes a predator lol hypocrite... like Yarrow said shes not a hunter and never will be basically.. and he was right.... Orens on the right track to actually effect the world and Hemlocks a burden and a mad dog currently and theres just no place for that now that Oren's making this kind of progress.
