i'll admit despite me absolutely hating her there is a CHANCE she could come around... atleast direct her anger at the actual antagonist ..."The Gluttons"... we got to see her knocked down 50 pegs...we got to see her truly terrified... and without pretending shes a freaking bobcat she almost looked like she could be normal...ALMOST... mad about Yarrow just killing Sprig for the freaking fun of it but hes right no matter how hard she tries she will NEVER be a "hunter" and she will always be outplayed by competent ones...if Rasks really wanted to he could easily dispatch her he showed that in the freakin boss fight that yarrow was and still almost lost to yarrow...

Could do with LESS of Hemlock personally, haha much preferred Sprig = _ = (wouldnt mind them swapping fates...)...big fan of Oren though.

I almost feel like this is too simple of a direction, and thus doubt that would be the case. As I've seen people say in comments from previous pages, if we were meant to hate Hemlock entirely, why have her backstory be what it was. There would be better ways, that would establish a similar reasoning, to give a character a sad backstory but still make them what is sometimes called a "hate-sink character."
Let me emphasize, that her actions are bad, in regards to her treatment of Rask and Egg. However, I would prefer to see character growth than her completely spiral even further. Only Teagan knows how this will end though, and I am excited to see what happens next with the story and all of the characters.

I would not be surprised if Hemlock makes her own tribe and it is Herbivores only with the primary purpose of hunting and killing any carnivores they can find.

Sybil (the porcupine) is female, just a heads up. Pretty sure Hemlock is still gonna have a major role to play as well.

I agree. When it comes to Hemlock, I’m not sure we have seen the last of her, as her exit from the story would have been rather anti-climactic.

It can also be an opportunity to introduce more inhabitants of the hollow and give them space for being properly characterized and developed.

Have to admit it was nice having Hemlock, now the interesting characters are down to Rask and Oren. Porcupine dude is fun but he's only really been about to explain some backstory as well as nominally being the reason Rask knew about the hollow.
Hope we get more feisty spear-bunnies, or at least more of Hemlock assuming she survives.
