With Sprig dead, I feel the Prey are going to have more issues to deal with than Rask and Yarrow. It was Sprigs job to keep the wolves out with the fake bear marks kinda.

I think Rask is making the decision to fight and possibly kill his father in the last 3 panels.

Well this is going to sad and interesting any way you slice it. It makes me wonder if uncle would have been much better had he survived. Yarrow seems very pragmatic, his very survival was because he was better at getting the hell out of town, all his kin died but that isn't going to stop him from surviving. This whole world is pretty bleak, I can't really blame critters for being selfish when it seems sentimentality is a good way to die and become someones food.

Rask needs to pick, fight or flight. Either he takes a shot at Yarrow or he gets well out of Hemlock's way before she arrives then /maybe/ she'll not have reason to immediately blame him.

He has a weird expression on the final panel. It kinda cuts with the base drawing style... Anyway I hope Rask isn't hunted out of the community, we have barely seen them interact, but Hemlock is coming and unless Cotton tries to defend him (and that seems unlikely considering how skittish he is) he'd have no one to back him off and he'll be screwed...

Something tells me that Rask is gonna go full doom slayer... or at least 3/4s... and show where his true loyalties lie.

Ok, maybe because of angle of sight he may didn't saw that "those pathetic sounds" were Rask's, but now he clearly shows that he's unable to read his son's emotions or find out what's going on (or at least that there's something different). Looks like Yarrow's lantern of intellect doesn't shine bright :P Maybe it's because he don't expect anything else than "kill, eat, sleep, repeat".
