Yeah, somehow I don't think he'd get to have a new Marten waifu if that was the case. Then be tasked with trying to escape and confirm Hemlock's prejudice, or be complicit in the death of someone who is like him, trying to survive alone in a hostile world, and still get shit about it being 'like him'.
